Don't Franklin FORD Columbia KY will rip you off ! Never will I buy fleet or personal vehicle from them ever again! They advertise we treat you like family, I guess it is true when you hear no one will hurt you more than family. One salesman went above and beyond to help me, the rest couldn't care less. They have a xxxx poor business motor with sales manager spouting lies real piece of work. Good place to go if you want to throw away your money for something that you cant even drive...
Service Department is just not good. In my experience, they will do only the minimum. Tell you something is checked but not check it. The customer must specifically ask for recall work or service bulletin work as the Service Department will not check to see if there as outstanding issues for your vehicle that you bought from them. You must verify on the work order what has been done as the Service writers don't actually check anything. And, never make an appointment close to lunchtime as all the techs be out and you have to wait to find out if something was actually done. Just a total I don't care attitude with zero evidence they want to get any better.
We bought a SUV for our son. It had been in a wreck but the salesman assured us it had been completely redone and was in great shape. Less than two years later, the paint on the hood began to peel and now there is rust showing through. We took it to a local company to get an estimate to fix but the work this dealership had done was so bad, it now costs more to fix than what the vehicle is worth. Do not buy any vehicles that they have worked on, their repair shop does horribly shoddy work.
I worked with Ross Schambon directly and Dan Franklin indirectly to buy a GT350R out of state. Ross was very responsive, likeable, timely and willing to communicate meaningfully via email and text. Unlike some dealerships I had to opt out of communications from, Ross was succinct and to the point. I did not get passed around to numerous sales people who never responded to direct questions and offers. I appreciated that. I also got what I think is a very good deal on the highly sought after GT350R. While some dealers act like these cars are worth a 10-20k markup, this dealership and Dan were realistic. Look Ross up if you want a pleasant buying experience.
The service is excellent and willing to deal with you. They do not force you to make a decision or push you into something you donāt want. A great family owned business that values customer satisfaction.

We went to look for the car on their lot as there were no pictures posted on line yet. The salesman was very nice, told us where the car was, got the keys, let us look the car over. We were not ready to buy that night. Went back three days later to buy the car. The salesman who had helped us earlier was busy with another customer and asked another salesman to help us. This young man let us take the car for a test drive and explained more of the features. We were able to negotiate a fair price and all paper work was done in less than an hour. One of the easiest cars we have ever purchased. Everyone we dealt with was nice, not pushy, and very professional.

Found a specific trim used Ford Transit van that I had been searching for months. Found one at Don Franklin via AutoTrader and CarGuru. Was a bit hesitant to commit, because the vehicle just arrived and there werenāt any pictures posted yet. Sales consultant Tommy Stearns immediately texted me photos that he personally took and a precise vehicle history. Thatās all I needed to make the long trip from PA! Tommy arranged for a colleague Bobby to pick me up at Louisville Airport and drive me the remaining two hours to the shop. Paperwork was fast and easy. I happily drove the 8 hours home. Thanks guys!

I have been getting my oil changed and tires rotated since I bought my truck paying 39.95 The last time the price was almost double and no one bothered to tell me before work was done. Was told I needed a coupon for lower price . I was not happy.I have always Been pleased with the service but this price change was very disappointing.Also I was to have 2 warranty issues taken care of and they only did one. I drive 40 miles and wanted both issues taken care of at the same time.
